Our Children
Need Your Help

Whether time or monetary, consider
helping a disabled child and their families.

About Us

Who we are

Established in 1954, the Physically Challenged Children’s Committee (formerly known as the Crippled Children’s Committee) is one of the oldest organizations assisting the physically disabled, and in our 60+ years in existence, we have assisted hundreds of children with physical disorders with receiving the treatment they need. In addition, we have also supported the training of people within the industry and within other organizations that provide care for children with physical disorders.

We are proud of this legacy, and hope that you will join us whether as a volunteer, donor, or advocate for disabled people.

“Children are the flowers of life and we must love and protect them.”

Why Become
a Volunteer?

The work of the Physically Challenged Children’s Committee would be impossible without the support of our volunteers!

If you wish to get more involved, we encourage you to consider joining the Committee, which works diligently to ensure that Bahamian children suffering from varying physical disorders are able to receive the treatment they need, and ultimately, live better quality lives.
